Johnny May

Johnny May is a producer, writer, string arranger, keys player and sound engineer. He started playing piano at just two years old, and violin at five which later landed him a spot in the USA national youth orchestra. Johnny's work is defined by its genre-blending creativity, seamlessly integrating elements of pop, hip-hop, alternative, and electronic music. Johnny is responsible for the opening string arrangement on the hit song “Folded” by Kehlani, and has landed production/writing credits on SZA’s Deluxe Album, “LANA” along with additional production on “30 for 30 (Kendrick Lamar)”. Recently Johnny has been working with Kehlani, HER, Jean Dawson, Bryant Barnes, etc.
